Participated in UI design and implemented code behind a highly interactive and graphically stunning interface, including custom VB ActiveX controls for displaying real time and recorded sound, and extensive Windows API calls. Additionally, designed database and implemented ADO backend which shares data with a CMU speech recognition engine based OCX control. Optimized runtime critical functions.
